The Static DPF Simulator (v.2)∗

The Static DPF Simulator is a tool for evaluating the performance of the RouteBased Distributed Packet Filtering (DPF) protocol [4, 3] in a static network environment. In this document, we describe the operation of the DPF simulator and the structure of the programs in the package, and discuss certain issues related to installing and running the DPF simulator tool suite. ∗This work was supported in part by grants from DARPA ATO FTN (AFRL F30602-01-2-0539) and CERIAS.
